KALAMAZOO, MI July 25, 2022 – On the heels of its successful 2022 Kalamazoo Pride Celebration, The OutFront Board of Directors has appointed Ms. Tracy Hall as Executive Director of OutFront Kalamazoo. The appointment is effective immediately.

Tracy Hall is a highly respected leader in Southwest Michigan who will bring a wealth of leadership experience and skill to the role. Tracy is excited to continue the legacy, momentum, and bold vision the organization has seen over the past ten years.

“Tracy’s experience as a three-term Kalamazoo County Commission, a college educator, and former OutFront Program Director will serve her well in her new, permanent role,” said Zac Bauer, Co-Chair of OutFront Kalamazoo’s Board of Directors. “The OutFront Board of Directors has set out a bold vision for the organization’s future, including the opening of Kalamazoo’s first LGBTQ Youth Homelessness Prevention Program. Tracy’s experience working with youth, public policy, and the programmatic portfolio made Tracy the obvious choice.”

In addition to serving as a Kalamazoo County Commissioner, Tracy has been a college educator at Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where she taught Gender and Women’s Studies, Political Science, and Sociology, serving over 2,000 students in her 17 years as an educator.

“I have been a part of OutFront Kalamazoo for over 12 years. It is an honor to step into the Executive Director role and to help usher the Board’s vision into reality. I look forward to connecting with the community and elevating LGBTQ voices” responded Hall.

The OutFront Board of Directors will host a Community Meet and Greet for Tracy Hall on August 17 from 6 pm to 8 pm. We hope you will join us to celebrate Tracy’s new role and to learn more about OutFront Kalamazoo’s mission and vision.

OutFront Kalamazoo is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to create a just, inclusive, equitable, and supportive environment in Southwest Michigan for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions.
