This training includes an informational presentation on substance use, addiction, harm reduction, and overdose prevention as well as instruction on how to respond to an overdose with or without Narcan.

The COPE Network recommends that all people get trained in overdose prevention and overdose response in case they find themselves in an overdose situation, and OutFront Kalamazoo recognizes that members of the LGBTQIA+ community are at an increased risk of opioid overdose compared to non-LGBTQIA+ individuals. Overdose Prevention Training makes our community safer and stronger for everyone!
