Do you have a poem or story that you’ve been working on? We want to here it! The Queer Women’s Community Spoken Word Night is your opportunity to share your original spoken word pieces. Each performer will have a maximum of 5 minutes to share their work (including any setup and self-intro). If you wish to perform, please arrive early to ensure a spot on the sign-up sheet; performance slots are first-come-first-served until the sign-up sheet is full. Whether you are performing or just joining as an audience member, please pre-register (link TBA).
Entry is at 6:00 PM and performances will start promptly at 6:30 PM.
QUEER WOMEN’S COMMUNITY (QWC) is a peer-directed group for lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and questioning women. This group offers a space for queer women to explore and discuss the topics that matter most to us.
Queer Women’s Community aims to build authentic and lasting bonds through this shared experience. This group is especially for women in Kalamazoo and the surrounding areas. Join this group to meet new people, learn about events, and stay in touch!
