Outfront Kalamazoo enhances safety measures after front door vandalism

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — An investigation is ongoing after someone shattered Outfront Kalamazoo's front door on July 31, Tracy Hall, Executive Director at OutFront Kalamazoo said Saturday.

No one was hurt, according to Hall.

Due to the incident, Outfront Kalamazoo is reviewing and enhancing the safety of its office space for the community, Hall said.

The incident will not interrupt operations. Outfront Kalamazoo will continue to provide trauma-informed support services Monday and Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m., Hall said.

"OutFront Kalamazoo is here to provide you with a safe space and vital support with our programs, resources, and community partnerships to help uplift and protect our LGBTQIA+ family," Hall said.

The services are on a drop-in basis and are free to the public.
