With so many opportunities to volunteer, there are usually multiple ways to get involved at OutFront Kalamazoo. Volunteering is a great way to contribute your time and talents to the community.
When you choose OutFront Kalamazoo, you join over 400 other yearly volunteers who are helping us make a difference. Please fill out this brief form to initiate your volunteer application process.
We have three main types of volunteer positions: event volunteers, committee volunteers and in-office volunteers. Event volunteers may just volunteer for one weekend event, such as Kalamazoo Pride, or another occasion. Committee volunteers work to plan and organize our various programs and events. Office volunteers work in our office on various tasks on a regular schedule for an extended period of time. For the office volunteers, we typically ask for a three-hour per week minimum commitment and we ask that you give us AT LEAST 24 hours notice if you will not be able to make your volunteer shift.
For every volunteer, we try to match their skills, interests, and abilities to our current needs. You can help us with this by telling us what skills you possess and what tasks you enjoy.
