ShadowDark for SHADOWDOOM. This will take place on the second Saturday of the month from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. You can join in the ShadowDark game or bring your own!

YOU are invited to a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, assuming that you miss out on the likely just WHOLE BUNCH of other chances you will get to do this—the chance to be hilariously goofy, collaborate with other cool folks, and occasionally roll the odd math rock and curse at the result.

We are talking about role-playing, people! Tabletop role-playing, to be specific. To be more specific, playing the simple, engaging, and dramatic new TTRPG Shadowdark, released on kickstart as of February 2023 by the immeasurably talented Kelsey Dionne, a writer, gamer, journalist, dog mommy, spooky horror queen, and Arcane Librarian.

Running this game will be a veteran GM of 15+ years, Benjamin (he/him), who most recently has been assisting Kelsey with playtesting, spending time with his family, and planning more absurd ways to hurt his brain. Benjamin specializes in improvisational gameplay and focusing on the players at the table. This meshes well with the mentality behind the game Shadowdark, which is similar to Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition, only without the clunk, skills, so many irritating numbers, and the evil corporate overlords.

And now you have the CHOICE to make! Will you attend, brave your mind and your best silly voice? Of course, you will! You won’t even need to bring anything unless you have a favorite set of dice. All other supplies will be provided by OutFront Kalamazoo or by Kelsey and The Arcane Library.
