In order for our community to thrive, we first have to survive. And with tobacco use for parts of our community being over three times as high as the state average, the KGLRC has an obligation to prioritize tobacco use reduction among the LGBT and HIV communities.
From providing educational materials to community leaders, to guiding individuals through the access points they need and holding open tobacco use pre/contemplation meetings, the KGLRC is committed to advocating for a tobacco-free LGBT community in Southwest Michigan.
