Recovery Institute of Southwest Michigan, Inc.

“LGBTQ individuals are almost 3 times more likely than others to experience a mental health condition such as major depression or generalized anxiety disorder. This fear of coming out and being discriminated against for sexual orientation and gender identities, can lead to depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, thoughts of suicide, and substance use concerns.”

What is Rainbow Recovery? Rainbow Recovery is a mental health/substance use support group for LGBTQ and ally community members located at Recovery Institute.

Meets weekly on Tuesdays at 11am to 12pm at 1020 S. Westnedge Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49008
